The National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) is launching the NROL-70 mission with a United Launch Alliance (ULA) Delta IV Heavy rocket. Space Launch Complex-37 at the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida will be the site of the liftoff. This is a Delta IV Heavy rocket's sixteenth and last launch. The NRO creates and manages the most advanced and powerful overhead reconnaissance systems in the world to support humanitarian and disaster relief efforts as well as gather intelligence for the national security of the United States.
