True Anomaly Inc., the defense technology company developing advanced space superiority systems, announced its expansion into Southern California with a 90,000-square-foot factory in Long Beach. The factory will serve as the company's footprint for new product development and vertical integration and include 20,000 square feet of office space for True Anomaly's growing employee base.
Long Beach, known as "Space Beach" due to its high volume of aerospace companies and talent, allows True Anomaly to establish roots in a central part of Southern California and unlock access to new talent, customers, and production capacity. Headquartered in Colorado with an office in Washington D.C., True Anomaly will utilize the Long Beach factory as a critical enabler of the development and production of its hardware and software systems. It will also include expanded classified operations and has the added benefit of being near a key customer in Space Systems Command. Of the 90,000 square feet, 70,000 square feet will be directly allocated to the design, development, and production of new space superiority solutions, unlocking significant manufacturing throughput to support customer demand.
"Long Beach is the perfect location to usher in a new era of space defense, and we're thrilled to establish an epicenter of defense disruption there. At a time when space is the most promising physical frontier for human exploration as well as an emerging battlefield, our new campus gives us an important edge," said Even Rogers, CEO and co-founder. "The local aerospace ecosystem will allow us to accelerate the design and production of breakthrough technologies that address dynamic new threats on orbit. This expansion sets the stage for True Anomaly to lead in securing and advancing humanity's next great arena."
"True Anomaly's decision to expand to Long Beach aligns with our vision of continuous growth and innovation," said Long Beach Mayor Rex Richardson. "We are excited to welcome them to our growing ecosystem of cutting-edge companies here in Space Beach and look forward to the opportunities they will bring across defense, tech, and aerospace that will make our community thrive."
The company's existing factory in Centennial, CO will continue to serve as headquarters and be utilized for product development, manufacturing and production. True Anomaly is actively hiring across locations and disciplines.
