Company: Blue Origin

Blue Origin is developing New Glenn, a heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle named for NASA astronaut John Glenn, the first American astronaut in orbit. The car's design work started in 2012, and in September 2016, high-level specifications and vehicle images were first made public. On February 21, 2024, the complete vehicle was initially shown off on a launch pad. The diameter of the two-stage rocket New Glenn is 7 meters (23 feet). Seven BE-4 engines, which are also being designed and produced by Blue Origin, will power it in its initial stage.
