It is a Chinese liquid-fueled launch vehicle that was first known as Long March 2F/H or Chang Zheng 2F/H, also known as Bingjian. It is abbreviated LM-7 for export or CZ-7 within China. The satellite, according to Chinese state media agency Xinhua, is "primarily used for multi-band and high-speed communication technology experiments."
