Rocket Lab, an American aerospace business with a fully owned subsidiary in New Zealand, is the developer of the two-stage, partially recoverable Electron orbital launch vehicle. In order to serve the small satellite launch market for businesses, Electron was designed.The first electric pump-fed engine to propel an orbital-class rocket is its Rutherford engines.Electron is commonly flown in conjunction with Rocket Lab's Photon spacecraft or a kickstage. Rocket Lab has recovered the first stage of the rocket twice and is working toward the potential of reusing the booster, despite the rocket's intended disposable nature.
