Beidou G3 was launched using a Long March 3 rocket from Xichang Satellite Launch Center, Xichang, China on 02 June 2010. Beidou is a Chinese navigation system and uses both geostationary satellites and satellites in intermediate orbit. This series is also called Compass-G.
